Eye infections occur once harmful microorganisms — bacterium, fungi and viruses — invade any a part of the eyeball or close space.
This includes the clear front surface of the attention (cornea) and also the skinny, wet membrane lining the outer eye and inner eyelids (conjunctiva).
Eye infections will occur in different parts of the attention and may have an effect on only one eye or each.
